Like so many others, Andrea was taught to knit by her grandma. When she went away to college, her multi-talented aunt reminded her how to do it and she’s had needles in her hands ever since.
She lives in Cowichan Bay in British Columbia, Canada, where she knits, designs, rides her bike, takes pictures, and blogs. Her designs are diverse, from the usual socks, sweaters and shawls, to leggings, dresses, and bloomers. She loves to contemplate the intricate interactions of fiber, stitch pattern, shape, and color.
Her patterns have been published in Twist Collective, Interweave Knits, Knitscene, and Knitty, as well as independently.
